Class Overview

Youth Fitness Zone
    • A 45 minute fitness class designed safely and specifically for kids!

    • Our age appropriate group classes are programmed by a degreed Exercise Physiologist and designed for their different age groups.

    • Perfect for all fitness levels and all ages! Both athletes and non-athletes alike.

    • YFZ allows your kids to run, jump, and play their way to their strongest selves!

    • Each class covers basic strength training, mobility work and cardio/agility drills with games, races, obstacle courses and challenges keep them entertained and working hard!

    • Workout equipment is provided and sanitized both before and after each workout.

Brittanie McDonald, Director

Brittanie has been with Dedham Health for over 11 years, starting as a Northeastern co-op student, she stayed with the company as an Exercise Physiologist and Group Fitness Director for 8 years and is now the Director of the Youth Fitness Zone while working full time as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor.

She has been in the fitness industry for over 13 years and graduated with a degree in Health Sciences from Northeastern University. Having competed in Division 1 Track and Field and Cross Country during her time at Northeastern, she specializes in training with athletes and runners.
